So I decided to start one of these again. I had one on Live Journal, which is still there... It spans back to 2002. I often like to go back and try to ignite some nostalgia by reading my own old entries. However, every time I go back to read old entries I end up punching my illiterate self in the nuts. It's very painful to read. Not that I'm any better now, but who's to say in another 10 years I won't be saying the same thing again. You know? But at least this time... THIS time... no... there no advantage this time. I'm still pretty illiterate.
I'm sure you've all been wondering where I've been the last year and a half. By "you all", I mean the negative number which represents the people I'm not always in contact with who are good friends of mine. What? Anyway, the point is to make me happy and have some kind of journal that may outlive me. I'm coming to re-realize my mortality (I went through something similar when I was 6 years old) now that I'm nearing the elderly age of 30. 30 years old. I know that's not "old". But the magic number 30 signifies all the victories I've accomplished in my lifetime. Victories like, not being homeless, having a good stable job doing what I like, and of course not being dead. Dead is bad. But I digress. So here's a short list of significant things I've done in the last year in a half, that I can remember... or care about.
Good friends:Plus alcohol. It's what you do in San Diego at night.
8 Mile Spartan Race: Almost died from heat exhaustion, made me feel proud of myself at the, and got a medal and sexy shirtless pictures of myself.
Games Games Games PC Games: That's whats been taking up most of my free time. Played through the Mass Effect Trilogy, Assassin's Creed Trilogy, and finished Fallout New Vegas. Skyrim was on sale. Looks like my habits won't change for a while....
Dated a girl: Dated a girl #8. It's already over, I think. Not sure. Ready for #9.
Got a 61inch TV for free from work:For free motherfucker! They were just going to throw it away. The fools.
Got a Raise: More money more problems... taxes
Started a Venus Transit Cult: Only 3 people joined, coconut punch was a bad choice. No one drank it, no one died.
Start another Jouranl: This one.
I might update this list in another post if I remember something significant that I've accomplished or would like to mention. But that about sums it up. I'm sure there were little things here and there that I missed or forgot to mention. Sorry future me for the lack of details. I'll try to write 'weller' in the future.
